Boa Entrada

Boa Entrada is a settlement in the central part of the island of Santiago, Cape Verde. It is situated 2 km north of Assomada. The area is intensively cultivated, especially with sugarcane, banana, with many mango trees.

Here you can find the oldest tree of Cape Verde, Poilon with 500 years old.

Knowing the construction of the Poilon, which seeks to better utilize rainwater in order to meet current irrigation needs, creating a storage capacity capable of overcoming the constraints of drought years.
